The Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV) basketball nipped the visiting Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV), 50-46 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Miners (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Lincoln County was tipped by Logan (Logan, WV), 46-34, in a non-league test.
