February 3, 2012: Parkersburg, WV 26101

Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV), 57-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Parkersburg South upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Patriots host North Marion (Farmington, WV) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 12-7.

Next up, the Big Reds play the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Parkersburg will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 54-31 league loss to Cabell Midland (Ona, WV).
