Kentucky High School Basketball - Mercy overwhelms Jeffersontown
February 5, 2013: Louisville, KY 40204 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mercy Jaguars (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Jeffersontown Chargers (Louisville, KY), saw Mercy's basketball squad wallop Jeffersontown by a count of 69-22.
With the victory, Mercy upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Fern Creek (Louisville, KY) to play the Tigers in a District 24 challenge on Friday, February 8. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-16. Fern Creek lost 68-38 in their recent non-league challenge against South Oldham (Crestwood, KY)
Next up, the Chargers play the South Oldham Dragons (Crestwood, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 8. Jeffersontown will attempt to upgrade on its 7-16 season record. The Dragons come into the battle with a 11-13 record after their 68-38 non-league win over Fern Creek (Louisville, KY).
