Michigan High School Basketball - St. Mary Prep winner over Christian
February 5, 2022: Orchard Lake, MI 48324 The St. Mary Prep Eaglets (Orchard Lake, MI) basketball felled the visiting Christian Eagles (Grand Rapids, MI), 63-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eaglets (10-3) will now prepare for their test against University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI). The Cubs go into the Catholic Central test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, University of Detroit Jesuit thwarted De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI), 61-41, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Northview for a Ottawa-Kent - Bronze test on Tuesday, February 8. Christian will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 68-64 non-league win over Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-1.
