Maryland High School Basketball - Mount St. Joseph holds off Calvert Hall
February 7, 2012: Baltimore, MD 21229 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD), saw Mount St. Joseph's basketball squad hold off Calvert Hall by a score of 65-60.
With the victory, Mount St. Joseph improves its record to 23-5 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to John Carroll (Bel Air, MD) to play the Patriots in a MIAA A challenge on Friday, February 10. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 23-5. John Carroll won 41-38 in their recent league challenge against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD)
Next up, the Cardinals play the McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) in a MIAA A challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Calvert Hall will attempt to improve on its 9-15 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 41-38 league loss to John Carroll (Bel Air, MD).
