In Tuesday's league outing, the Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV) basketball squad knocked off the host Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), by a margin of 56-42.

The Big Reds (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles go into the Mountain State outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, South Charleston topped Riverside (Belle, WV), 103-45, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winfield for a non-league match on Thursday, February 9.
