February 8, 2013: Baltimore, MD 21221 In Friday's league outing, the Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD), by a count of 75-51.
The Gaels (26-5) will now prepare for their match against Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 24-7 record. In their last match, Pallotti crushed Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD), 53-46, in a league match.
With the defeat, Our Lady of Mount Carmel moves to 9-17 on the year. The Cougars travel to Cristo Rey Jesuit (Baltimore, MD) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Monday, February 11. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 12-9.
