Alaska High School Basketball - Wasilla crushes Delta
February 9, 2023: Delta Junction, AK 99737 Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Delta Huskies (Delta Junction, AK), 53-9 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wasilla upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Warriors host Kodiak (Kodiak, AK) to clash with the Bears in a 4A Northern Lights bout on Friday, February 17. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-8.
Next up, the Huskies clash with the Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Delta will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Whalers go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 56-51 league win over Bethel (Bethel, AK).
