The Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) basketball crushed the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), 75-51 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rockets (21-3) will now prepare for their test against North Laurel (London, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, North Laurel walloped Pulaski County (Somerset, KY), 73-40, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 17-9 record. They take the field next when they host Pulaski County for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 17. Southwestern will clash with a Maroons squad coming off a 73-40 non-league loss to North Laurel (London, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 3-16.
