Michigan High School Basketball - Athens thwarted by Groves

The Athens Red Hawks basketball team (Troy, MI), was toppled 55-41 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI)

The Falcons now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochester for a Oakland - Blue battle on Friday, February 15. Groves will confront a Falcons team coming off a 70-31 non-league loss to Adams (Rochester, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 2-14.

The Red Hawks (4-14) will now prepare for their battle against Southfield Arts & Tech (Southfield, MI). The Warriors come into the Oakland - Red battle with a 10-7 record.
