Kentucky High School Basketball - Lexington Christian holds off Model
February 16, 2016: Richmond, KY 40475 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lexington Christian Eagles (Lexington, KY) and the host Model Patriots (Richmond, KY), saw Lexington Christian's basketball squad hold off Model by a tally of 75-74.
With the victory, Lexington Christian improves its record to 14-15 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 19. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 22-29. Taylor County lost 57-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Nelson County (Bardstown, KY)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Lynn Camp Wildcats (Corbin, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 18. Model will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record.
