Kentucky High School Basketball - Lincoln County ripped by Lexington Catholic
February 20, 2024: Lexington, KY 40503 The Lexington Catholic Knights basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Lincoln County Patriots to 42 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 27-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren Central for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Lexington Catholic will battle a Dragons team coming off a 88-58 non-league win over Russellville (Russellville, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 13-9.
The Patriots (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 7-19 record. In their last contest, McCreary Central was routed by Clinton County (Albany, KY), 84-46, in a non-league contest.
