Kentucky High School Basketball - Estill County nudges Berea
February 24, 2021: Irvine, KY 40336 Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Berea Pirates (Berea, KY), 39-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Estill County upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Engineers host Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, March 1. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Buckhorn won 73-27 in their recent non-league bout against Jackson City (Jackson, KY)
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 26. Berea will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 72-44 non-league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY).
