Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV), 73-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Scott upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Fayetteville Pirates (Fayetteville, WV) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 27. Nicholas County will attempt to move on its 12-9 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 7-13 record after their 72-65 non-league win over Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV).
