The Fairfax Stampede basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Desert Mountain Wolves to 56 in the Stampede non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Stampede now sport a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chaparral for a non-league contest on Friday, March 4. Fairfax will meet a Firebirds team coming off a 61-58 non-league win over Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 20-9.
