The Union Catholic Vikings basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Queen of Peace Golden Griffins to 45 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Seton Hall Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 5. Union Catholic will meet a Pirates team coming off a 86-77 non-league win over Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ). The Pirates record now stands at 24-3.
