Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bishop Walsh Spartans (Cumberland, MD), 67-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gonzaga upgrades its record to 28-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Paul VI (Fairfax, VA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 26-8. Paul VI won 68-63 in their recent non-league bout against Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD)
