The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Union Mine Diamondbacks (El Dorado, CA), 19-6 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bruins play the Roseville Tigers (Roseville, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 12. Ponderosa will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Pioneer (Woodland, CA).
