Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) and the visiting Fairfield Falcons (Fairfield, CA), witnessed Rio Linda's softball squad prevail over Fairfield by a count of 26-3.

The Knights now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Natomas for a non-league match on Monday, March 18. Rio Linda will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 21-9 non-league win over Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Fairfield moves to 0-5 on the season. The Falcons host Benicia (Benicia, CA) to face the Panthers in a Solano County match on Monday, March 18. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 3-3. Benicia lost 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Freedom (Oakley, CA)
