Kentucky High School Softball - Danville nudges Henry County
March 19, 2016: Danville, KY 40422 Danville Admirals (Danville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Admirals now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Campbellsville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 19. Danville will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 17-9 non-league win over Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Henry County falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 19. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Cumberland County won 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Somerset (Somerset, KY)
