April 4, 2022: Summersville, WV 26651 Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Nicholas County upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 5. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 3-1. Greenbrier West won 19-3 in their recent non-league test against Richwood (Richwood, WV)
With the defeat, Braxton County falls to 6-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Gilmer County (Glenville, WV) to battle the Titans in a Little Kanawha test on Tuesday, April 5. The Titans come into the test with a record of 3-1. Gilmer County won 18-8 in their recent league test against Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV)
