Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Valley Christian Lions (Roseville, CA) and the visiting Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA), witnessed Valley Christian's softball squad tip Foresthill by a count of 8-1.

The Lions now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sacramento Country Day for a Sacramento Metro match on Tuesday, April 12. Valley Christian will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 23-10 league loss to Buckingham Charter (Vacaville, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-3.
