Virginia High School Softball - Graham bounces Bluefield
April 12, 2018: Bluefield, VA 24605 Graham G-Men (Bluefield, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.
The G-Men now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Radford for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 16. Graham will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Bluefield falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Beavers host Summers County (Hinton, WV) to face the Bobcats in a Coalfield AA challenge on Friday, April 13. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Summers County won 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV)
