Kentucky High School Lacrosse - Atherton drops to Cooper

April 26, 2024: Union, KY 41091

Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Atherton Ravens (Louisville, KY), 14-8 in a non-league battle.

The Jaguars now have a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Ryle for a KLA North - 1 battle on Thursday, May 2. Cooper will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 13-10 non-league loss to Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 6-7.

In their next game, the Ravens clash with the Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 30. Atherton will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Rockets come into the battle with a 2-14 record after their 22-0 league loss to Woodford County (Versailles, KY).
