California High School Softball - Highlands knocked off by Foothill

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Highlands Scots (North Highlands, CA), by a margin of 23-1.

With the triumph, Foothill moves its record to 2-12 on the year. The Mustangs travel to El Dorado (Placerville, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 30. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 0-14. El Dorado lost 16-0 in their recent league contest against Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA)

With the loss, Highlands moves to 2-8 on the season. The Scots travel to Rio Vista (Rio Vista, CA) to face the Rams in a Sierra Delta match on Tuesday, May 3. The Rams go into the match with a record of 5-5. Rio Vista lost 12-4 in their recent league match against San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA)
