Kentucky High School Soccer - Boyd County knocks off Bath County
August 26, 2024: Ashland, KY 41102 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) and the visiting Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY), saw Boyd County's soccer squad triumph over Bath County by a count of 8-0.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Menifee County ran past Morgan County (West Liberty, KY), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, August 28. Bath County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Mason County (Maysville, KY).
