August 27, 2022: Pikeville, KY 41501 The Pikeville Panthers football team (Pikeville, KY), was knocked off 27-19 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY)
The Colonels (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Lexington Catholic knocked off Henry Clay (Lexington, KY), 48-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paintsville for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 2. Pikeville will meet a Tigers team coming off a 46-7 non-league loss to Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
