In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Raceland Rams football squad scored a close 19-16 victory over the Ashland Blazer Tomcats.

In their next game, the Rams clash with the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Raceland will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
