In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Fairfield Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Sacramento Dragons.

The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.

Next, the Dragons battle the Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 31. Sacramento will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 10-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA).
