The Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV) football knocked off the host Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV), 28-15 in Friday's league outing.

The Red Devils now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. Oak Hill will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 24-20 non-league loss to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Nicholas County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 6.
