Kentucky High School Soccer - Model nudges Corbin
September 5, 2023: Corbin, KY 40701 Model Patriots (Richmond, KY) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Model will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Maroons enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Boyle County (Danville, KY).
The Redhounds now possess a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Laurel for a District 49 test on Thursday, September 7. Corbin will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-3.
