West Virginia High School Volleyball - Liberty over Fairmont Senior

September 7, 2023: Clarksburg, WV 26301

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Liberty Mountaineers (Clarksburg, WV) and the visiting Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV), saw Liberty's volleyball squad beat Fairmont Senior by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Tyler (Sistersville, WV) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Tyler won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Doddridge County (West Union, WV)

The Polar Bears now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Fairmont for a Big Ten bout on Thursday, September 7. Fairmont Senior will play a Bees squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV). The Bees record now stands at 4-7.
