North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK) backers left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK), 1-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) in a 4A Mid-Alaska match, on Tuesday, September 17. North Pole will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Malemutes come into the match with a 4-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Bethel (Bethel, AK).

With the loss, Redington drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Huskies host Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK) to battle the Grizzlies in a 3A Southcentral match on Tuesday, September 17.
