West Virginia High School Football - Riverside routed by South Charleston
September 16, 2016: Belle, WV 25015 The Riverside Warriors football team (Belle, WV), was ripped 48-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV)
The Black Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Timberwolves come into the Mountain State challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Spring Valley trounced George Washington (Charleston, WV), 54-21, in a league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Albans for a Mountain State challenge on Friday, September 23. Riverside will meet a Red Dragons team coming off a 50-13 league loss to Ripley (Ripley, WV). The Red Dragons record now stands at 1-3.
