The Spring Valley Timberwolf football squad scored 10 points and limited the visiting Riverside Warriors to 7 in the Timberwolf league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Spring Valley upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Timberwolf host Capital (Charleston, WV) to battle the Cougers in a Mountain State battle on Friday, September 29. The Cougers come into the battle with a record of 3-1. Capital lost 14-9 in their recent league battle against Nitro (Nitro, WV)

The Warriors (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Ripley (Ripley, WV). The Vikings come into the Mountain State bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Ripley was nudged by St. Albans (St. Albans, WV), 35-21, in a league bout.
