In Saturday's non-league contest, the Golden Sierra Grizzlies (Garden Valley, CA) volleyball squad knocked off the host Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Grizzlies battle the Center Cougars (Antelope, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 22. Golden Sierra will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Foothill (Sacramento, CA).
