In Friday's non-league battle, the host Highlands Bluebirds volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the South Oldham Dragons.

The Bluebirds (19-6) will now prepare for their battle against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Walton-Verona was beaten by Scott (Covington, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

With the loss, South Oldham drops to 6-7 on the campaign. The Dragons host Butler (Louisville, KY) to battle the Bears in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 30. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 0-5.
