The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Francis de Sales Stallions (Columbus, OH) and the host Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY), observed St. Francis de Sales's football squad defeat Covington Catholic by a count of 28-7.

The Stallions now own a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Watterson for a Central Catholic - Silver match on Friday, October 2. St. Francis de Sales will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 27-7 non-league loss to Benedictine (Cleveland, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.

The Colonels (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Braves enter the 5A District 5 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Grant County dropped by Holy Cross (Louisville, KY), 20-14, in a non-league match.
