With the win, Russell improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Red Devils host Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY) to confront the Panthers in a 3A District 6 test on Friday, October 4. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-5. Fleming County lost 34-7 in their recent league test against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY)
With the loss, West Carter moves to 2-3 on the season. The Comets travel to East Carter (Grayson, KY) to confront the Raiders in a 3A District 6 test on Friday, October 4. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 1-4. East Carter lost 28-7 in their recent league test against Mason County (Maysville, KY)
