Kentucky High School Football - Beechwood sneaks past Dixie Heights
September 28, 2012: Edgewood, KY 41017 The Beechwood Tigers (Fort Mitchell, KY) football edged the host Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY), 33-28 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Bellevue Tigers (Bellevue, KY) in a 1A District 4 bout, on Friday, October 5. Beechwood will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 22-14 non-league win over Owen County (Owenton, KY).
The Colonels (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Campbell County (Alexandria, KY). The Camels enter the 6A District 6 bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Campbell County nudged Simon Kenton (Independence, KY), 29-28, in a league bout.
