Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY), 20-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Knox Central improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Wayne County (Monticello, KY) to confront the Cardinals in a 4A District 6 test on Friday, October 5. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 5-2. Wayne County won 40-6 in their recent league test against Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY)

With the loss, Clay County drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bell County (Pineville, KY) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league test on Friday, October 5. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 6-0. Bell County won 44-13 in their recent league test against Casey County (Liberty, KY)
