Kentucky High School Basketball - Harlan holds off Jackson County
January 11, 2024: Harlan, KY 40831 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY) and the visiting Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY), saw Harlan's basketball squad hold off Jackson County by a tally of 60-57.
With the victory, Harlan improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Green Dragons travel to Barbourville (Barbourville, KY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Barbourville lost 47-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY)
Next up, the Generals confront the North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) in a District 49 contest, on Tuesday, January 16. Jackson County will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Jaguars come into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 71-43 non-league win over DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY).
