October 3, 2008: Greenup, KY 41144 The Greenup County Musketeers football team (Greenup, KY), was ripped 40-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Raceland Rams (Raceland, KY)
The Rams (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Paris (Paris, KY). The Greyhounds come into the 1A District 5 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Paris was ripped by Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY), 20-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Musketeers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boyd County for a 4A District 8 challenge on Friday, October 10. Greenup County will meet a Lions team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Ashland Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.
