The Liberty Raiders topped the visiting Byrd Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Raiders now have a 20-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host PikeView for a Coalfield AA test on Thursday, October 11. Liberty will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 14-11.

The Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Bearcats enter the Big Ten test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Grafton was knocked off by Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV), 3-0, in a league test.
