Kentucky High School Football - Campbell County sneaks past Dixie Heights
October 11, 2013: Alexandria, KY 41001 The Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) football edged the visiting Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY), 16-13 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Camels face the Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) in a 6A District 6 bout, on Friday, October 18. Campbell County will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 2-6 record after their 26-17 non-league loss to Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY).
The Colonels (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Pioneers enter the 6A District 6 bout with a 8-0 record. In their last bout, Simon Kenton nudged Boone County (Florence, KY), 55-7, in a league bout.
