The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) and the visiting Teays Valley Christian (Scott Depot, WV), saw Sherman's volleyball squad nip Teays Valley Christian by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Sherman upgrades its record to 10-8 on the year. The Tide travel to Logan (Logan, WV) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, October 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-4.

The now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Buffalo for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 13. Teays Valley Christian will play a Bison squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Bison record now stands at 8-16.
