October 13, 2012: Hinesburg, VT 05461 In Saturday's league match, the host Champlain Valley Union Red Hawk football squad scored a good 31-13 victory over the South Burlington Rebels.
In their next game, the Red Hawk clash with the Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT) in a Division I match, on Friday, October 19. Champlain Valley Union will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 14-0 league win over Colchester (Colchester, VT).
The Rebels (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Hornets enter the Division I match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Essex was toppled by Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT), 28-26, in a league match.
