October 13, 2023: Danville, KY 40422 In Friday's league game, the Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) football team smashed the visiting Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY), by a score of 58-14.
The Rebels (8-0) will now prepare for their game against Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Cardinals come into the 4A District 7 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Wayne County overwhelmed Russell County (Russell Springs, KY), 44-23, in a league game.
The Patriots now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Taylor County for a 4A District 7 game on Friday, October 20. Lincoln County will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 21-10 non-league win over North Laurel (London, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-2.
