October 13, 2023: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 The Highlands Bluebirds football squad scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Conner Cougars to 7 in the Bluebirds league victory on Friday.
The Bluebirds now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scott for a 5A District 6 battle on Thursday, October 19. Highlands will face a Eagles squad coming off a 67-7 league loss to Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
Coming up next, the Cougars face the Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) in a 5A District 6 battle, on Friday, October 20. Conner will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Rebels enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 49-7 league loss to Cooper (Union, KY).
