October 18, 2013: London, KY 40744 The Pulaski County Maroons walloped the host South Laurel Cardinals football team by a count of 39-0 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Pulaski County upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Maroons host Southwestern (Somerset, KY) to confront the Warriors in a 5A District 7 outing on Friday, October 25. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 1-8. Southwestern lost 21-20 in their recent league game against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY)
The Cardinals now hold a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Laurel for a 5A District 7 game on Friday, October 25. South Laurel will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 56-28 league loss to Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-2.
